Terms & Conditions (Terms of Service)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inbox Detox.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and capable of forming a binding contract. You access the Service through Google OAuth; you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. License & Restrictions

Inbox Detox grants you a personal, revocable, non exclusive, non transferable, limited license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose—organizing and deleting your own Gmail messages—subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Modify, copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to discover source code.
• Use automated means (other than our public API, if any) to scrape or access the Service.
• Use the Service to violate Google’s policies, anti spam laws, or any applicable law.

4. User Generated Content & Permissions

By authorizing Gmail access, you grant Inbox Detox the rights to process your Gmail metadata and perform deletion actions solely to provide the Service. You retain ownership of your data.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

6. Third Party Services & Links

The Service integrates with Google APIs and may link to third party sites. We are not responsible for third party content or practices. Your interaction with Google is governed by Google’s terms and privacy policies.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, harms other users, or poses a legal risk. Upon termination, your license ends, and we will delete your stored data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error free, secure, or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inbox Detox and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inbox Detox, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami Dade County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and revise the "Effective Date." Material changes will be announced via the Service. Continued use after posting signifies acceptance of the changes.
